A lot of states are banning phones. As someone who just finished student teaching and has been in a family of teachers, they’re a HUGE problem right now. That’s not really that controversial. It’s the Ten Commandments that are a clear violation of the separation of church and state.

Students get super distracted, lots of teachers are happy about that (at least the ones I know). Ten Commandments stuff is bogus though

Yeah I went to a HS that only allowed phones during lunch periods and tbh I get it now. You can still have them on you but I honestly don’t think you need them when you’re learning
