That’s fair for almost everything, but Bill deregulated the banks. I look at them as a sort of 1-2 punch. Bad individually, terrible in (almost) succession.

Clinton, on behalf of the Democratic party, embraced many tenets of Reagan’s ideology, and the domino effect of that is that the modern Democratic party is incredibly right wing on economics, and additionally often agrees with the right on other issues like foreign policy, criminal justice, and the military budget. It’s important to remember that it didn’t have to be that way.
