Kristi Noem takes a fucking gun and shoots her dog in the head with zero outrage from the right. But a random dude who talks about news and politicians and plays video games from time to time is suspected of having a shock collar and they are all over it

But what you don’t understand is more people on the internet hate the random dude talking politics then people who hate Kristi Noem. In both cases people don’t really care too much about the dog unfortunately

they just hate people. they will always frame their ideological enemies as wrong/bad and their ideological peers as correct/good

Fed shooting a dog doesn't shock me nearly as much as a Youtuber abusing their dog for engagement bait while claiming the moral high ground on political issues

I honestly don’t think that dog is abused. I feel like that would be impossible to hide with how often she’s live on camera & around people. Dogs aren’t human they can’t fake it around others & cameras

please spare me your nonsense and don't get your panties in a twist. i never suggested there wasn't hypocrisy on the left. you just don't recognize that, like a pavlovian dog, you are trained to bark whataboutisms whenever somebody rings the right wing criticism bell

you don't have to be saying it's ok when republicans do it for it to be whataboutism. that's not what whataboutism is

"... responding to an accusation with a counter-accusation instead of offering an explanation or defense against the original accusation... whether attempting to distract... or attempting to justify their behavior by pointing to the similar behavior (WHICH MAY BE TRUE OR FALSE, BUT IRRELEVANT) of their opponent OR ANOTHER PARTY who is not the current subject of discussion"

by definition you are engaged in whataboutism. "... which may be true or false, but irrelevant"

Distraction and deflection are the point. You don't have to defend the originally critiqued person/s to do whataboutism. That's optional
