I’d be down for improving public transit, making rent affordable, enhancing walkability, and introducing new, innovative, and advanced technologies that will help everyday people.
Mamdani is practicing taqiyya right in front of y’all’s faces. NYC is going to turn into Paris very quickly

“NYC is gonna turn to Paris real quickly” is not the insult you think it is at all.

I went to Paris a couple of months ago and it was genuinely very lovely compared to NYC. now I love my city but if we can make it so it doesn’t smell like piss and gasoline all the time like it is in Paris that would be great

The streets were also a lot cleaner in Paris and it was much more walkable too

My family’s expressed wanting to go to Europe for a while, and for me, the idea of like some combo of France/Switzerland/Italy/Germany would be wonderful. Whether it’s the walkable design or the cleanliness, it’s just super appealing.

Like and you’d think with it being Paris that it’s gonna be FILLED with tourists shoulder to shoulder all the time, but away from historical landmarks the streets were quiet and there weren’t even many cars. It felt a bit like a ghost town. Tbh there’s some cities in France and Europe as a whole that more resemble NYC (Marseilles and London come to mind) but Paris is just a very nice quaint city and not as big as people think it is
