well yeah that was part of my joke, I wanted to be a military pilot when I was a kid, then I got glasses and that whole career path just disappeared

now, you CAN get a pilot’s license with less than 20/20, and I would certainly like to someday, you just can’t do it for the military

I actually have a 2nd cousin who got his pilot’s license before he got his driver’s license, because he grew up flying the cropduster on my great aunt’s farm. Grew up to be a Private Jet Pilot. And he wears glasses.
