I know that might not be politically practical, but at the absolute least I think parents who want their kid circumcised should have to submit formal documentation of their religious affiliation with signatures from clergy. That way people can’t just mutilate their kids on a whim

Idk how to tell you this man but sometimes circumcision is a medical necessity, such as in severe cases of phimosis and paraphinosis (look it up) and if they have a condition like epi or hypospadiasis (look those up too) the foreskin will be used for surgical correction and the rest may be removed for cosmetic and future body image purposes. Plus body issues may arise if their private part looks different than their parent’s

I’m not talking about niche medical circumstances, and no those issues are not common. Almost nobody in Europe gets circumcised and they’re fine
