I did NOT get forced to stand there in elementary school and say “liberty and justice for all” just for liberty and justice to not be granted for all. GIVE THEM DUE PROCESS!!! PROTECT THE PEOPLE’S PROTEST RIGHTS!!!!

I teacher at my high school got fired for picking a kid up by his shirt and literally throwing him out of the classroom down three stair steps onto concrete (it was a trailer classroom) for not standing for the pledge. He wasn’t even protesting he just fell asleep. Even if he was protesting that teacher had NO right to put his hands on a student especially for that.

This was also the middle of winter so he locked the kid out without his coat in 20° weather and the kid had to go to the buzzer in the front of the school and ask to be let in so he didn’t have to stand in freezing weather. Kid was pretty shaken up by the whole thing. Teacher was gone by the next period. Teacher was a dick and nobody was really sad to see him go.
