Historically, once the leader of a cult dies they have dissolved. The key will be to not forget what MAGA did and stood for once he’s gone. They will all run with the - I was never really a supporter. Actions speak louder than words, or in their case, lack of action

Actually disagree with this. Trump isn’t a conventional cult leader. He opened the door for them and the idea that’s just going to disappear once he’s gone ignores the fact his voters had a lot of the beliefs before he came around. They’ll just find another vessel

Hardcore MAGA would never rally around him. Trump may be an incompetent moron, but MAGA thinks he’s the second coming. They do not perceive anyone else in the party the same which is why he’s their shield to dismantle and implement Project 2025
