like maybe not everyone is all the way there but one of the top 10 public universities (where i go) in the country is a 15 min walk from where abbott walks.. or i should say, rolls. like we’re educated and those who aren’t rlly fucking hate the govt. dont count us out lol.

im hesitant to. i think its very possible. but like i said. the gerrymandering, and election interference is strong. they keep moving polling places, changing id requirements, etc. im a volunteer deputy registrar here and speak spanish so im out every wkend registering people sundays at grocery stores, saturdays i pass out pamphlets at farmers markets, festivals etc. theres a lot of us working rlly hard. its just a matter of people going to vote and being allowed to. so idk. but we’re trying.

and i specify the days bc here we cant advocate for a party while registering ppl. anyone who wants to can, and i cant mention any candidates or policies while doing so. so i have to do it separately 🫩

for example, they actually completely changed the id design recently. i had to get a replacement in april. now while that seems like aesthetics, its not. bc its a clear way to determine new and old ids. so, if someone has the old design and a poll worker in a rural county has a bone to pick, they can call it fake or outdated. its simple shit like that. its gonna be hard. but yall gotta understand texas is only red bc they’re doing everything possible to keep us from being blue
