harris ran a purely anti-trump campaign without really addressing issues that voters were also concerned about. given the biden admins treatment of gaza, i can see why people would consider you apathetic for voting either way. i voted for harris, but i know if she won not much would change about gaza bc it seems like liberals really only care about domestic issues and don’t care what the govt does abroad. just my two cents
Harm reduction voting isn’t blind loyalty—it’s survival for millions. Saying it “doesn’t help” ignores real harm prevented. Harris didn’t run purely anti-Trump, and blaming voters for Gaza while ignoring decades of leftist international activism is lazy. You can vote and hold power accountable.
Idk what happened but it seems like it started right around covid. I know that nuked the social development of basically everyone who was in middle/high school at the time, and that might be a big part of it since those people are becoming adults now and creating a sort of sub culture within gen z. I almost exclusively see these kinds of opinions from gen z
ignore Trump’s foreign policy meaning it's always downplayed compared to Democrats, while acting like everyone calling it out is soft or complicit. And if calling that out is “hostile,” maybe the problem isn’t the tone, it’s that the truth touched a nerve. Accountability should be applied evenly.
i said hostile bc you called op an asshole for no reason. also saying that leftists are downplaying trump and calling liberals complicit for calling out trump is factually untrue. it doesn’t even make sense. i agree that accountability should be applied evenly. that’s kinda been my whole point
