Part of it is that the military isn’t allowed to repair a lot of contracted equipment and most of the stuff used to cook isn’t working. It takes weeks for the contractor to send out a repairman. Not too sure for actual food, but surely reserves gotta be running pretty low, it’s been months

Id imagine making sure the soldiers who are overseas are more of a priority to make sure they're well fed and taken care of is more of a priority than supplying the secret police with shock gloves bc their fingers are too fat to fit around a tazer.
