There are Christians that are wrong lol, Saturnalia and Pagan Winter Solstice festivals were both moved to align with the Christian tradition of Christmas, not the other way around

The reasoning that Jesus' birth actually occurred on Christmas wasn't entirely logically sound however, which is where much of the conclusion comes from. Holy men, at the time, were believed to die on the same day that they were conceived. March 25th, the date of Jesus' death, would be 9 months prior to Christmas day that year.
