Christians don’t understand that the original Christian’s didn’t think god was a being. They though of god as a summation of the world and environment.

Definitely not, first century Christian’s to the late medieval thought of god as the state of being or the state of goodness. Only after the late medieval did this change into the more current Christian belief of god as an individual entity.

Understand history. Prior and post Age of Enlightenment. There was a drastic switch with the amount of people treating god as a deist. This is also when saints and church’s came more into the picture who pushed the ideas of individual judgement and the afterlife. If you understand history you will in turn understand how Christianity has evolved over the years and possibly lead to your deconstruction in the faith.
