Easter celebrations are banned in Israel but not in Iran

Easter is not banned in Israel, but they did recently interfere with clergy attending Palm Sunday which is unacceptable. Israel’s Christians are marginalized, and those in the West Bank and Gaza are being brutalized as we speak, but it’s inaccurate to act as if Christian celebrations are banned there.

Also, it’s worth mentioning that being born Muslim and then converting to Christianity (apostasy) is illegal in Iran, so converts have to celebrate Easter in secret. People born Christian (usually of Armenian or Assyrian descent) can do it publicly though

The restrictions seem to be wartime restrictions that also apply to Passover and other gatherings
