 conservatism is inherently anti-american. no better way to say you hate the usa than to endorse man who wants to become a king. before this country was even a country, we hated kings and we fought to keep them out of our lives.

Well, that’s not entirely accurate. A contingent of our founding fathers wanted to make Washington king, and conservatism isn’t necessarily monarchism

trump’s GOP is what theyve always wanted to be. conservatism is evil and the current administration should expose that to people but i guess people want to either remain ignorant or feign otherwise

“they” refers to the ruling class and its adorable when people think they can have some sort of “moderate” right wing movement or they label themselves as such because it always pulls further towards fascism
