I think the last week has proven that the MAGA base isn’t tied to Trump, but tied to the things he pushed for, and now that he is going back on it, they are abandoning him. They care about Epstein, and will vote for anyone to know what happened.

A lot of MAGA see themselves in Trump, as he has arguably portrayed himself as a more casual president than previous presidents. Now that he's trying to put the genie back in the bottle, everyone sees him exactly as they see every other politician and it's getting worse. Hope it keeps up!

I’m starting to think that isn’t true. It seems that they want government transparency more than anything, something which Trump ran on. Now that he isn’t giving it, they are turning on him.
