Out of nearly 7 billion who caught the disease. Nobody is saying it wasn’t deadly, but it certainly wasn’t worth derailing the entire world economy and forcing people into their homes with tyrannical government overreach

Also, yeah we can make so many statements in hindsight about COVID but the thing with infectious diseases is they’re unpredictable. and in addition that’s the death toll *with* the shutdowns. Imagine what could have happened with uncontrolled spread

Do u know how many died from the 1918 Spanish flu? From smallpox? Polio? It is nowhere near the same. Nor did they do ALL that for those either

yes, you’re right. More people died when they did less to stop the spread.

The problem wasn’t that we tried to stop The spread, the problem is that they used it as an excuse to grab so much power. It was obvious very early on that it mainly affected older people (and sometimes children). Healthy adults should have been able to make their own health decisions

More people died AFTER the vaccine came out than before. I’m not saying the vaccine wasn’t worth it, but god it wasn’t the magic cure

Also smallpox and polio are awful examples bc mass vaccination campaigns are what (nearly) eradicated those diseases

I wanna be clear nobody is claiming vaccines are bad. They are GOOD examples of medicine done right. We’re obviously talking about all the insane power grabs, lies, and lockdowns

There are a lot of people who say vaccines are bad. A lot of very wrong people.

Well maybe if u stopped lumping in everyone who raises a reasonable objecting in with those idiots they wouldn’t be so prominent. But every time someone says “hey this thing has a bad effect sometimes” and yall group them with the “vaccines cause autism” crowd they just get worse

The Covid Vaccine did not have a bad effect. It was safe and effective 👍

The Covid vaccine DOES have side effects that are worth considering, given it is NOT effective at preventing new infections after it. That doesn’t mean it WASN’T effective, but acting like 2 things can’t be true at once is childish.

Where’s your common sense? Do you need one to read what the PhD scientists say?
