People who I DON’T think are good contenders Kamala Harris (nuff said) Josh Shapiro (Israel lobby) Pete Buttigieg (VERY bad with minorities) AOC (too much bad propaganda, too “coastal”) Tim Walz (bad debater, corruption allegations, way too much propaganda)

Newsom definitely also has corruption allegations and I’m not a personal fan of him but he also has a strong populism angle and is a really good debater (firey handsome guys do well in the midwest)

Add JB Pritzker to this he’s a real G for supporting James Talarico and the Texas dem filibuster but another billionaire running for pres is not a good look for working class swing voters or moderate-progressives. He wants to run but I think he’s better off as a governor. I could see AOC running for gov or senator of NY too just not pres

Beshear isn’t in the national spotlight yet and honestly he’d be better as a VP behind a more outspoken Pres . Dems are famous for being fucking incompetent tho

I think he should stick to the podcasts and the DOT where he’s super effective because the reds are right when they say he’s got zero successes governing, south bend Indiana isn’t really a great resume booster
