Women being able to choose when and with whom they have a child is an unadulterated good. Women are socially, educationally, economically, and politically less free when they lack access to birth control.

nothing but facts. the ability to plan families is also a net positive for children.

The fact that this is considered political is profoundly sad

This is exactly why they want to restrict contraceptives

What about the mothers who’s miscarried dead baby was stuck inside? By medical terms she needed an abortion, but doctors were too scared to help and she got sepsis. That is who abortion laws harm the most.

That’s a different situation and should fall under a separate law. All abortions shouldn’t be made legal just for cases like that. It should still be legal in that case though

What’s it matter? They’re probably gonna get a late term abortion anyways going to school in this country

Birth control and abortion are not the same thing. There’s overlap but they aren’t identical, dipshit

Literally all abortion laws have exceptions for situations that are dangerous to the mother. Nobody is saying “oh, you had a tragic thing happen to the child growing inside you and you’re going to die without this medical treatment. Lol.” Please tell me a law in this country that outlaws all abortions, even if they are required to save the mother’s life.

if there’s exceptions why did they have a braindead woman give birth in Georgia lmao

To save her baby? What else would they have done? Are you arguing that they both should’ve just been allowed to die?

So they violated her corpse after she died to give birth to a baby that was born extremely premature and only born through cesarean section! Awesome!

Not for nothing this post was about birth control. A preventative non-abortive form of family planning that, were it made easier to access and not constantly being challenged and demonized in this country, could reduce the rate of abortion. A goal that even the most pro-choice people support btw.

Whores are awesome. Purity culture sucks and should be eliminated. Stop trying to inject your ridiculous traditions into politics. All tradition is dumb.

But the laws are not separate and even if there are “exceptions” in the laws doctors are still to scared to save women

No one should be forced to have a child even when they are dead
