The republican party is targeting middle to lower class, uneducated white people because if that demographic continues to believe minority groups (Race, gender, LGBTQ) are the reason for their problems, then they won’t ever develop class consciousness.

“DEI” is just like “woke,” it’s some nebulous undefinable concept that Republicans jump on to demonize anyone who’s not white or straight

DEI itself obviously has a categorical definition, but that’s not how most Republicans understand it. Most of them probably can’t even tell you what it stands for
