I feel like there is a lot of people who have had some sort of experience like this. Got sucked down a pipeline and had someone or a group of friends snap them back. It was so bad I had once said “Yk Ben Shapiro is kinda right.” idk what the fuck i was on about

I mean, fair enough. I’m just glad that I wasn’t really into politics when I was younger, cause with my super far right parents that coulda been real bad. Made a bunch of friends in middle and high school who helped me realize all the shit I was spouting was just wrong and objectively awful lmao, thank god. So long story short, been there

Same here, ive been into politics for a while now but it wasnt till covid till i actually got into it (partially due to j6) but when i was younger my gma was a raging racist and republican then went to maga after trumps first term. If i hadnt learned how to dig deeper into anything and had my friend who was smarter than me at the time id where i would be.
