Because the Samson Option literally exists. It is a widely known facet of Israeli defense policy.

The Samson option is for when the existence of the state of Israel is at risk, they are clearly winning and Iran poses 0 threat to the existence of Israel. It’s like saying we were likely to drop a nuke on Afghanistan.
