“I hate protestors” or “I hate violent demonstrations, civil unrest, and public disturbances” - which one is it truly?

Just to be clear, your position is that the New Deal caused the economic growth that happened years before it was created?

The average is already closer to 4 days than 5

The new deal did cement the 5 day work week. Also then following the new deal there was unprecedented economic growth in the United States

Wow, I wonder if they’ll do that again with AI? (Nope, they’ll just layoff more people instead)

The 5 day work week had already become standard at that point. Henry Ford implemented it in 1926. The NIRA was struck down by the Supreme Court.

This probably accounts for part time workers

The BLS defines part time as anyone who works less than 35 hours a week. If you want people to work 4, 8 hour days, you are asking people to work part time.

What does that have to do with anything? Are you attempting to create another country? What a ridiculous argument

I’m so sick and tired of you conservitards and your pearl clutching when it comes to protest. No im not saying to start another country but you people only police protest and speech because it makes you uncomfortable

Ford did himself do a 5 day work week for some worker with stipulation, but it was not widespread for all workers in America not until there was a law about it. Also bud read a little bit further about the work week law after the NIRA was struck down they made a new one the FLSW that did the same things and wasn’t struck down.

Your screenshot doesn’t support your claim. The practice was widespread before it became federal law.

Sorry I thought I had put multiple images but I guess it didn’t work. Also even if it was widespread before the legislation there were no protections for it, the law is what matters.

Do feel free to demonstrate how saying violent demonstrations are not protected by law and policing protest (which it is not) and protected speech (which it is not) are the same thing
