Cameroon?? I can’t imagine many of our immigrants are from Cameroon that seems like a very random country in terms of where our immigrants are. Like imagine coming from a Central American country and then getting sent to Africa like what the fuck are we doing

This is known as “third country deportation”, basically a country that the deportee has nothing to do with. The UK did this with Rwanda for a little bit

I messed up, sorry. This isn’t the same as the Rwanda program. Only 4 were sent to Rwanda, and once they arrived there, they could apply for permanent residency and work in Rwanda. For this Cameroon thing, they’re still detained in Cameroon and cannot leave unless they agree to return to their home countries
