So They still have a education and they don’t have to worry about all the awful things kids go through in school

Ehhh, it’s mixed results, I had an ex that was homeschooled, they purchased material from an evangelist organization :/ I don’t think I’m against homeschooling as a concept, but I do think it’s lack of structure lends itself to problems

Why put a child through bullying, racial discrepancies, sexual issues, and so many other problems? At least in that controlled environment it’s easy to teach a better right vs wrong than in public schools where kids will bully you for being poor or being Hispanic or a POC or just because your hair is weird, school suicide keeps going up not at a alarming rate as before but it increases everyday

why put a child through the natural environment? so many germs, illnesses, disease, issues! just lock them in a box and theyll never get sick or see how scary the world is!

I disagree I have no problem with germs I believe in vaccines but you also have to look at it from a different view this country isn’t what it was before kids were cruel back then yeah because it was like 60s 70s 80s 90s and early 2000s where racism and classism was a major thing but now with school shootings and parents not buying school supplies and people living in their cars or homeless or can’t afford clothes and free lunches not being a thing everywhere it’s a big problem

I would say maybe many states have specifics on homeschool and they have required books and some even send state educators to watch them take a test
