Never directly but they want to open up polar bear habitat for drilling and are hampering efforts to combat climate change and the clean energy transition. Clearly they don’t care about polar bears or glaciers.

Climate change isn’t really endangering glaciers or polar bears. Besides I doubt they came up in the conversation anyway. Why are you inferring that they must “hate” glaciers and polar bears from this? Is that really the only reason you think someone would wanna increase drilling?

It would have to be actively threatening them in some way. Also, even if it was, how is this about polar bears and glaciers and not oil and money? You really think people are just saying “fuck them bears” and deciding to drill based on that?

Climate change is actively threatening both of them more and more everyday. Where are you getting your information because this is genuinely concerning people don’t realize the dire affects climate change is having on the mass glacier extinction (and its affects on water for rural communities) and polar bear die offs.
