I think you should have voted for the lady who outlined her progressive policy proposals on the debate stage instead of the raging narcissist who ran on “immigrants are eating the dogs”

What did NATO countries just agree to? How is the market currently performing?

NATO countries agreed to a bullshit agreement that an unspecified number of allies will increase military spending to 5% of GDP, when including road, bridge, and rail construction as military spending. Spain’s prime minister literally has been bragging about how he and the Germans got all that vague language in there so they wouldn’t have to meet the 5% target.

markets are currently a bit under record highs set last week. they are listening to his every word and gambling against his tariff threats. he’s so far backed out of nearly every one/placed a 90 day pause which is ending soon. we will see when he announces his “deals,” but his new rounds of tariffs made the price of copper spike to an all time high and the pharma ones will kill people

Whoops forgot Trump’s threats to illegally threatening to fire Fed chair Jerome Powell. I can literally explain how Trump’s policies from inauguration day are designed in a way to force a technical recession while at the same time fiscal and monetary policy are implemented to offset a full recession at the expense of Americans’ social safety nets and quality of life
