I swear Republicans constantly talk about how Democrats “only pay attention to murders when a black person is the victim” yet they have these waves of outrage on social media that I have never once seen be about a person of color being killed

the right loves to pretend to give a fuck about the victims of these crimes. the reality is they want an excuse to point fingers based on preconceived bigoted beliefs they already had on blast. so many people are straight up murdered in the united states that don’t receive extensive news coverage. and anytime a POC is killed, it was somehow warranted in their eyes. but if a white person is killed, they’re ready to declare war on an entire race…

Except for Iryna Zarutska, it’s not just about immigration. It’s about the race of the attacker. Now they’ve dragged the race of the surrounding passengers into it too 🙄
