You’ve gotta be stupid or have zero self awareness to believe this, if they did release it, every pundit in conservative media would’ve labeled it a political attack to falsely incriminate the competition, which would’ve guaranteed a second Trump term that would be even more emboldened to engage in political warfare against his opponents

That’s the point. I’m making fun of you for your gut reaction being “hurrr durrr but the democrats didn’t do it either”. It should be released whether it’s democrats or republicans on it and I guarantee it’s both. It’s soo hypocritical that republicans were the ones spreading theories about why it wasn’t released and now that they’re in power they wont release it either. Even after the whole spectacle of influences getting “Phase 1” documents. All just a show to protect pedos.

Should the democrats have released it? Yes. That’s not a cop out for republicans to not release it though, especially when they’ve all been saying for years how it’s a #1 priority now everyone suddenly doesn’t think it’s important. Elons tweet about trump being prominent on the list just got a lot more credible.

My gut reaction is that saying Trump is the real reason that the files haven’t been released is foolish. The democrats clearly didn’t want it released either. What we’re dealing with something a lot bigger and much more menacing than just Trump. I agree that it shouldn’t be a cop out for republicans but soley placing the blame on Trump is short sighted. The files need to get released it really doesn’t matter what party does it, but the unfortunate reality is that both parties are all over it

Well Trump is in power now. So currently it is his fault, and if his administration erases the concept of “the list” from public attention then yes, his admin will be the nail in the coffin for there EVER being a publication of the list.

If the next admin is Dem and the public has finally accepted there is no list and Trump’s admin just shreds it then its over ykwim? If they dont want there to be a list, then theres no list. And its their fault

And if youre about to say “what if the LAST admin shredded it!” Then why did Bondi lie and say it was on her desk ready to be published. Either Bondi needs to be fired for lying about there being a list or it was a coverup for a real list
