It can work in small towns, it’s more about proximity to other locations tho too. Like there’s no reason a small town connected to the grid couldn’t have electric stations. Quite frankly it’d be less expensive than shipping a tanker of gasoline every week. But if you gotta go 30 minutes to the next charging station that is different yeah

Home charging helps yeah, but that doesn’t help much if your home is the only accessible charger within a reasonable radius. More reason to invest in infrastructure tho than a deterrent to electric adoption

Fun fact my part of my state is the only place in the country where the Tesla chargers have the magic dock adapter for my non Tesla
