Kinda fucked up that transgender identity is “harmful for children” and “abusive” but conversion therapy is fine

that’s because they don’t give a flying fuck about abuse, they want control and conformity. if they cared about abuse, half the people in office would be booked with no bail.

Nya it’s because if a child looks at me they might think it’s okie to be transsexual :3

Your identity is your business and you’re just as much a human as anyone else and don’t deserve any disrespect

Conversion therapy is good because trying to change someone’s sexuality by force is fun and it’s good for the soul!

Nya everyone knows that transgender people are all bad and yucky so we should make it hard to be transgender so that young people will see how hard it is to be transgender and decide that it’s not worth going through all that pain and humiliation and abuse for something as silly as “living in the body you feel most comfortable in” or whatever they say :3

When I was six I though a lot about how pretty the skirts and dresses were but I wasn’t allowed to wear them because that’s bad

Only adults think about those things silly, just ask any adult who thinks things like that and they will tell you it only occurred to them on their 18th birthday

I did. If i knew what being trans was or that transitioning was an option before i was an adult i wouldn't have wasted years of therapy being told id always be that miserable or have tried to kms 3 times. I would've had hope for my future. You don't know what you're talking about

when the news kept speculating that Lady Gaga was a trans woman and questioning her genitalia, and I saw her neither confirm nor deny their suspicions, honestly I was 11 years old & just enamored with that attitude. what was once such a common insult or concern that needed to be quelled was now just another frivolous attempt at making this woman feel small while she grows to be larger than life. funny how their hateful comments about her were what informed me about trans women existing as a kid

Children think about ‘shit like that’ all the time. What you mean to say is ‘Children don’t usually think about being trans’. Most boys think about the fact that they’re boys, and most girls think about the fact that they’re girls. When boys get told to wear blue and wear shorts and roughhouse each other. And girls get told to play with dolls and wear pink and have long hair. It’s at that exact same age when trans people realize there’s something different.

they will worry about “that stuff” because gender roles are forced into kids the second they’re born. i would rather my kid be able to look me in the eye and have the words to explain how they feel than have them kill themselves at 16 because of ignorant fucks saying they’re wrong or unnatural.
