My mom, my sisters, and I sit on my front porch and gossip, talk to our neighbors, or narrate conversations of people that walk by it’s very fun 😁 like nobody has a front porch with chairs on it anymore it is sad to me

I really like this older walkable neighborhood in my city. because whenever I bike through there in decent weather, there’s always people sitting on their porch, walking around, etc. It could use a local coffee shop or other small businesses. but other then that it’s great.

I mean tbf most of my neighborhood was built in the 1960s and most of the houses don’t have porches
