But i see what you are saying about how the post engages in identity politics. I don’t like identity politics either but this post makes the point that we actually have the ability to protect vulnerable populations in the present & we should focus on that instead of an abstract revolution that we can’t make happen right now

You reiterated a point that I can’t defend because I’m not someone who fundamentally believes in reductionism. Unless you’re more trying to fight on the definition of leftism, which is mostly true that there isn’t one…but it’s pretty clear OOP’s image is referring to traditional Marxist reductionism.
