It’s a tough situation because if two people with opposing views don’t agree on the underlying philosophical ideas neither can be swayed. I can’t see myself ever being convinced that abortion should be banned, and I can’t see someone who strongly believes that it constitutes murder being convinced to support it

Even philosophically, abortion could never be considered murder but combining that with biology I REALLY don’t understand how someone can consider abortion murder

Because they consider it to be that. I’m not talking about philosophy as in “based on established philosophical works” but more personal worldview. It’s not completely contradictory for someone to think that way, I don’t agree but I get why someone would be pro life if that was their genuine outlook
