no. it’s not. like at all? Black people having a nation where they could govern themselves independently of the white supremacist state is not what the white supremacists would want. don’t you study history? brush up on your American history if that’s the case. lmfao

Isn’t that what Liberia was supposed to be?

i’m confused how this is even a remotely plausible conclusion. you really think the racists would want to give up their self-proclaimed homeland and see a prosperous Black state in its place ?

Wouldnt that literally separate people by race

established and governed by white people under the notion that it would be impossible for Black people to integrate in the US, because they believed whites to be too racist, no, this is not what Liberia was supposed to be

even then, Liberia was exploited to hell by the white supremacist state. y’all should look into what Firestone did to Liberia

So…where is this being proposed? On land that someone else currently inhabits?

there was no issue relocating Black people to the Americas, but now that white people will be inconvenienced there’s an issue? keep in mind we readily bulldoze Black communities today to build our interstates and highways, with no commotion from whites. what do the whites bitch about? public transit ? the thing that benefits us all

ok if you want to bring up history… yes there was collaboration between Neo-Nazis and certain Black nationalist groups because they wanted the races to keep apart. Was it large or representative? No… did it happen? Yes. We are lucky that integration, and not a segregationist form of Black nationalism became the dominant ideology of the racial justice movement.

I *never* said anything about white people. I was asking where these people would be relocated. The question of “is it on land that is currently inhabited by someone else” is a yes or no question. I have zero clue what landmass you’re even proposing this state be on

then why bring it up if it was fringe and in no way shape or form even REMOTELY relevant to the larger struggle for Black nationhood in the white supremacist state. you calling it segregationist says everything. you’re conflating Black power and white power, two different things, as one. you’re being the white supremacist here, not me

yeah, my roundabout way of calling folks white supremacists. they have a colonial and colonized mind. i cannot help them other than by telling them to analyze history and the society that they live in, which you cannot do by conflating two unrelated things as one in the same

who is ‘we’ btw? do we live in the reality where integration happened and suddenly the US is a post-racial utopia? the police, judicial, and prison systems are still colonial systems which disproportionately target Black people, on top of the white supremacist state relegating Black people to a position of weaponized poverty. integration was the compromise, and one that stuck because the white supremacist project successfully crushed the Black power movement

so i suppose you’re right, we, you and i as white people, who already have a state are better off for it, but what about those who built this nation for us, who’ve been relegated to the crumbs of crumbs and are continually the victims of the same colonial violence that began four centuries ago. are they better off ?

It was arguably more exploited by the Americano Liberians. Who created a segregated society with themselves at the top and all the local ethnic groups below them over. Trying to eradicate local religions due to being barbaric. Mass for assimilation of locals tribes. Local tribes couldn’t get birthright citizenship till 1904

you’re not really highlighting that Liberia as a project didn’t deviate from its white colonial and capitalist origins. Liberia was theorized and put into practice by white people, of course it would go onto establish a comprador bourgeoisie when white people discovered that it was difficult to survive malaria. neocolonialism 101. lets look at the rest of Africa that has been exploited by white nations despite their leadership appearing African. it’s a comprador class loyal to white interests

that is to say that it is wrong to project the failings of colonial capitalism and establishing equality onto an anti-colonial and socialist project

Its origins were isolated from the United States from it declaring independence in 1842 till it finally gained recognition from the United States in 1862 with the American civil war. Liberia was economically independent from the US till Firestone. Germany was the biggest trading partner till 1914. Firestone only came in 1920s 80 years after independence. If it was designed as an economic colony why were the so late to the draw?why would American capitalists allow the Germans to have such control

They would but they wouldn’t want to set up the black ethnostate in the middle of the American South. You would have to kick all the white people out so kindof hard to blame them.
