Also mandating voter ID shortly before an election before adequate time is given for people to know get their IDs and vote, is very clearly an intentional act to decrease voting numbers to benefit older richer people that are more likely to vote Republican

Ngl I’d expect the population of people with valid, unexpired passports to skew slightly liberal, but you’re right, there would probably be a rush of wealthy republicans going to apply for or renew their passports
