I think people will look at it two ways: The ignorant way: “see gender identity is dumb bc Trump clearly isn’t a woman!!!” The nuanced way: “clearly Trump has been comfortable with his masculinity his entire life, him coming out like this likely isn’t indicative of his internal identity but rather an attempt to try and delegitimize those who identify differently than their sex”

That’s not the point tho. Theyre saying anybody can be anything at any time. It doesn’t matter if he’s been a male and been happy for however long, if he feels like he’s something else, he’s whatever he wants to be.
