It’s 100% better than anyone that tries to use AI as a source. Wikipedia has citations so you can check the info and where it came from.
Go try adding some nonsense to a page that’s relatively important. See how fast it gets reverted
Obviously I wouldn’t cite it in a paper, but if it’s an argument online then Wikipedia is fine imo
Many LLMs are adding citations too but it’s definitely worth double checking that the source wasn’t misinterpreted
Better than the worst isn’t a good standard
But why? If you wouldn’t use it when there’s stakes that just means you don’t trust it
The stakes are different for a master’s thesis or term paper than an argument on an anonymous app imo
