Okay yea this is pretty valid. I searched a bit on the subject. He seems to argue that it’s complicated as the state has been pushing local municipalities for decades to build more shelters and housing and is pairing the dismantling with housing funding, but of course that doesn’t justify his anti-homeless platform being this extreme
Yes I know he was one of the first mayors to legalize gay marriage. At the time it could have been political suicide but it was the right thing to do. I kind of wonder why that compares with his stance on homelessness. I think he does what he thinks is right which is good, but among which includes breaking down homeless peoples tents which is pretty bad even if he had lots of other liberal policies
