Because we can build systems that sinning unnecessary and that don’t reward sins. We can build systems that actually teach and rehabilitate people who sin out of need while we punish people who sin out of greed and hate.

And I’m using “sin” here but I don’t think relying on religion to tell us what is right and what is wrong is good either way
