Iran has sent militant groups against nations besides Israel, such as Iraq and Syria. The Syrian Opposition (now government), Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Arab Gulf, the anti-Hezbollah faction of Lebanon, and most of Iraq don’t like Iran lol. Iran supported Assad too

I know you’re going to argue that they form as resistance groups against some sort of aggressor, but that’s largely false because most of them are formed for ideological reasons and are in fact the aggressors. For example, the US never attacked the Arab Gulf nations or Afghanistan prior to 9/11 and even helped the Afghans against the Soviets, but Al-Qaeda forms from Arabs and Afghans in Afghanistan and repays us by attacking us, for ideological reasons.

Iran screwed with Israel first by threatening to wipe them out of existence ever since the Islamist regime came to power in Iran. Iran launched missiles at Israel in October of 2024, and launched drones attacks against Israel in 2023, and for decades Iran’s proxy Hezbollah and other proxies have attacked Israel

What did the US do to Arabia or Afghanistan to warrant 9/11? Nothing. Did the US colonize the Middle East like Britain, France and Russia? No. The US kicked Iraq out of Kuwait, are they getting attacked for that? The US joined a UN peacekeeping force in the Lebanese Civil War and Hezbollah attacked the US as a result. Did the US invade the Sinai Peninsula? No, and in fact temporarily imposed financial restrictions on Britain, Israel and France for doing so.
