Dude Manchin voted with the Dems like 90% of the time. My problem with progressives like you is that you want to criticize moderates for seeing politics as a “team sport” but then do the same thing when people who are elected by states to be moderate actually vote how their states want them to. And with Fetterman the guy was a progressive then had a stroke that completely changed everything he’s a unique case and it’s weird af that any time now a progressive doesn’t 1/2

Oh no Fetterman completely sucks and I hope to god he gets primaried in 2028. I just think blindly saying anyone who doesn’t fit the progressive mold perfectly is gonna just be one of those two is way too simplistic

Yeah I get what you mean and agree. I think it would really benefit leftists and/or liberals to develop a more nuanced view of why politicians on the left vote the way they do. I have seen people get mad at AOC for example for the way she voted on a certain measure without taking the time to understand why she actually voted that way
