
I certainly don’t believe she belongs in prison, but I’m not entirely sure what a mental facility would do relating to her crime as she’s no longer suffering from psychosis. Which is usually the way they’re able to sentence them to court mandated institutionalization. State mandated trauma therapy to help her cope would be fucking banger tho but locking her up seems counter intuitive to that
Well, if she was found to be not guilty due to insanity, she’d be committed for a while until it was deemed she was no longer a threat to herself and others. That’s not gonna be an overnight process. She’d probably be in the nut house for at least the next year before being released.
