You don’t build a nationwide infrastructure capable of building a nuclear bomb, to not build a nuclear bomb.

You do if that same infrastructure is also used for nuclear fission reactors

You don’t need the expensive and complex infrastructure capable of enriching uranium to weapons grade.

If your worldview deems child casualties as a necessary evil, your worldview is wrong. Defend drone-strikes on civilians to me all you want, I’ve already decided it doesn’t sit well with me, it’s not my problem if it sits fine with you. Nobody said a war was necessary except the people dropping the bombs, if you think war is necessary, you’ve clearly already made up your mind.

That’s a hell of a straw man you’ve built for yourself.

All I said was I believe they are building a bomb, I never said anything about children’s deaths, drone strikes, or if I believe that Israel should be bombing Iran, you just put all those positions on me and argued against it. That’s a straw man

Google, what’s the difference between uranium enriched for commercial purposes vs weapons grade.

Yes, it’s about how enriched they are. The narrative is “they’re enriching uranium, therefore they’re making weapons” which is a false dichotomy. Now, if they have enrichment plants taking it to 70-90% 235, then yeah that’s a bit more worrying. I haven’t heard any specifics about that though. And, without those specifics being mentioned, I think the US has far more reason to *claim* they are, even if they’re not, than they have reason to claim they aren’t when they aren’t

“Im a coward and wont say what i really believe!” Then what do you believe? This is about a war, you imply its not about that? Iran wouldnt be on your tongue if Israel hadnt done this. If youre implying Iran deserved it, in any capacity, youre obviously at least pro Israel here, but you cant seem to just come out and say that because again, the whole coward thing. Youd rather get cheap and curt and snappy than acknowledge youre supporting actions abroad youd never want done to your own nation

I don’t think they should have bombed Iran, again you’re assuming things. It was an unnecessary escalation by bibi trying to hold onto power.

That’s not what I said, I literally said you don’t build the expensive and complex infrastructure required to enrich uranium to weapons grade.

The international atomic energy agency says they are doing it, it’s not us intelligence .

I know what you’re saying. How do you know it’s weapons grade infrastructure, and not fuel grade infrastructure? Both are incredibly large and complex.

Because the international atomic energy agency and other international organizations have confirmed that they are.

If you’re talking about Fordow, they haven’t gotten to weapons grade yet. But they are close. Too close for comfort. That said, if they truly are trying to get weapons grade uranium, the infrastructure for it is going to be deep underground, well out of the range of missiles

So you agree with me that they have the infrastructure in place then?

Not in place per se, but in the works it seems. Of course, they’re going to try and conceal their actual progress as much as possible I see that. I agree with the sentiment that we should do what we can to keep Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. Unfortunately, it seems like all of their recent breakthroughs happened because Trump pulled out of the deal we had with them

100% they are only here because we left the nuclear deal. Even if they don’t have it yet they have everything required, even two years ago us intelligence said they could manufacture crude nuke in days if they wanted to.
