Honestly the sad part of it is that aid to Israel for the Iron Dome is pretty much a handout. It isn’t exactly mass produced, with the US owning two for military bases, Azerbaijan owning one, and Singapore owning one, so the interceptor missiles aren’t likely to be US surplus. Meanwhile, we cut off aid to Ukraine citing a dwindling stockpile and needing to keep it for defense purposes, even though we’re literally giving them out last-gen, about to expire, sloppy seconds of supplies
