Lmao chill out. Some ppl are *less than upset* bc Kirk spewed violent hate speech and dangerously hateful rhetoric. He promoted unspeakably horrible ideas/ideals/concepts toward certain individuals. Obviously those individuals aren't gonna cry for him. No one would cheer for the death of someone just bc they're 'conservative' (well, probably at least 1 person on the planet would, but yk)

funnily enough i keep seeing progressive people with seething contempt for him but adding that they feel bad for his kids and think it was wrong. some even feel for his family/friends who witnessed it or the video. but obviously we pay attention to different things

For the most part at least on video platforms like TikTok, I’ve seen overwhelming support and condolences offered by leftist creators

I will say I’ve seen a bigger difference on anonymous or text based platforms on places like here, Reddit, and twitter. Those seem to get a lot nastier. But I have to assume that A) part of it is intended to be ragebait and piss people off and B) the algorithms on these kinds of platforms favor hateful content because it gets more interactions
