Crazy how the people who spent years chanting “save the children” and going on about a cabal of elite pedophiles have now made Massie persona non grata in their party with much of the reason being that he demanded the truth on the ACTUAL pedophile cabal
Agree with him or not, Thomas Massie exemplifies consistency and unwillingness to yield to corruption. He lost his seat because he refused to compromise what he believed to be right and I believe that is commendable.

Bc the broad abstract campaigns ab saving kids are good at rallying voters and building emotional and cultural momentum whereas demanding specific legally-binding actions like subpoenaing the Epstein investigation docs usually sees quick resistance from those established in the party who fear losing power after a scandal Plus it’s the cost of political independence, reps who don’t follow party strategy are often left isolated by the party even if their actions more closely resemble the rhetoric

The tv show From does an extremely good job at representing this artistically

“SAVE THE CHILDREN!” “So we’re gonna provide the children with quality public education, nutritious food, and affordable healthcare” “What? No, you dirty communist!” “So we’re gonna take down the known Epstein associates running amok then?” “No! They’re rich and powerful and I voted for one so the government will cover for them.” “Can we at least give our children a clean environment to grow up in?” “No! Our brave, patriotic corporations have the right to pollute the air, water and soil freely”
