you’re trying to make this point as if kamala doesn’t go against everything in the bible. tbh between voting for someone who goes against the bible and someone who supports christians and supports what the bible says, i’d go with the other candidate.

You silly little fascist Jesus loves gay and trans people, there’s nothing Christian about not going to a PR dinner, and the do no harm act is to prevent doctors from engaging in religious discrimination

So yeah you’re not really Christian, and even if you were, do you really think needing a cosmic power constantly surveiling your behavior and ultimately judging whether you go to paradise or burn makes you a better person? That doesn’t make you moral, it just makes you managed lmao

You can be gay and support gay people and still be a Christian as Jesus says to love everyone and not judge but you shouldn’t try and lecture other Christians into believing something that clearly goes against the teachings of the Bible

Like I said it’s perfectly fine to be gay and support gay people and have your connection with God. However, that does not change the fact that it is clearly stated in the Bible that it is a sin.

Why would a loving God punish his disciples for not following his every word (in a text produced by man, whom He knows is a fallible creature) despite said disciple professing their love for the lord and every other person who inhabits the living plane?

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #3 8w

Because it is very clearly stated that it is a sin. Jesus doesn’t love you anymore or less based on your sins but he will judge you when your time comes. Being gay by itself doesn’t automatically mean you are going to hell but it is a sin that you are knowingly going through. No one is free from sin but it’s how you act on it.

You seem to know relatively little about actual policy and take a ‘vibes based’ approach to politics so you really shouldn’t be lecturing anyone.

Yea sure I’ll try and make the wording a little simpler! So you made a claim that Jesus had two dads on a thread talking about homosexuality and Christianity trying to imply that Jesus had gay parents but that’s simply not true. I’m guessing you saw a little gotcha meme on TikTok and are regurgitating it here trying to have a slam dunk

I think the main issue I have with this kind of argument is that it really comes down to what you define as a sin. How do you define a sin? I personally don’t think that something out of one’s control doesn’t constitute a sin.

Being gay itself isn’t a sin as that’s out of your control acting on it is a sin

If that’s the logic behind it, wouldn’t premarital sex, both homo and hetero, be equally sinful in the eyes of god?

upvote 1 downvote

Anonymous replying to -> ireallylikepancakes 8w

I personally don’t think the Christian hate towards gay people is warranted at all and hating on someone just for being gay is just as much of a sin as being gay. However supporting it especially in the way that the democrats and Kamala Harris supported it is warranted for hate

All sins are sins there are no greater than or less than sins. Being gay doesn’t automatically mean you are going to Hell. I sin everyday as do you. My sister is gay and also has very devout faith I would never in a million years think she is going to hell just simply because she has a girlfriend.

Catholicism. And I’m talking more about what qualifies as a sin. I personally can’t see anything that doesn’t bring harm to anyone as sinful. But I digress. Unfortunately, I must leave.
