call me a stupid liberal but i’d much rather my tax dollars go towards helping the disabled, homeless, veteran, low income community rather than bombing innocent people in the middle east and wars that have nothing to do with us🤷‍♀️

The sad thing is that these wars do usually have something to do with us but that thing would be unwanted American intervention in foreign affairs. I’d personally like to see us take a step past isolationism towards actually righting the wrongs that we are responsible for

An unfortunate thing that I think may be true that when people say that they’re coping, trying to find an outside source because the extent to which what’s going on is terrible is such that it is literally unbelievable that it could possibly be our own government
