Dei is racist, adding trans people and people into media specifically because they “don’t have representation”, allowing kids to go take testosterone and puberty blockers, talking about sexuality and things of that nature to kids in books and kids tv shows, everything about it is bad.
Okay, so let’s tackle this 1 at a time 1. How? What is your definition of racism? Have you done any research in the way academic has changed over the years to better acknowledge its inconsistency? 2. I agree, adding trans people for the sake of filling out a roaster, without having any meaningful reason for them to be in the story. That is pink washing and wrong 3. Are you against puberty blockers for children that go through it too early?
4. What is sexuality? Does that term only refer to intercourse? 5. That’s genuinely only 4 points on a word that is as encompassing of our entire political system. Surely you must agree that discrimination still happens, and we should seek to make it more equitable beyond sexuality
“My definition” isn’t a thing. The definition of racism is specific prejudice against someone because of their race. That is what dei is. It gives benefits to people because of their race. It is racist. Yes I am against it. There are many trans people that detransition because they were told be doctors or people in authority to them to do it and that it’ll be okay. It permanently changes your biology and it’s categorical abuse. No it doesn’t refer to just intercourse, anything to do with gender.
Yes, I agree, “your definition” isn’t a thing, but people interpret that definition in many ways. I’m just using short hand. Please take a breath, your words sounds frantic. I’m trying to have a productive conversation 1. That’s a great point, that is the definition. Now let’s dig a bit deeper, what is prejudice? I’ll wrap around to DEI after we get to the bottom of this definition 2. Homie, I’m not talking about trans people. I’m talking about people that develop puberty early because of all
Grow hormone in our foods. You can be against it in cisgendered kids as well. I’m not arguing that. I’m simply asking, do you believe they should be taken away from “normal” kids too? 5. Awesome! I’m glad we agree! With that in mind, trying to address the discrimination in our system is “woke” you are “aware” or “awake” to the systems at be that cause discrimination. So no hate whatsoever, this isn’t a gotcha, it’s just the point, that we both agree that is wrong in the system. Therefore, we
The definition of prejudice is a “preconceived opinion that isn’t based on reason or experience.” So discrimination, hating someone or having a distaste for people of a race for no reason essentially. I’m not saying hormones in food are good, but putting them in foods makes them easier and faster to grow to have more yield. I do believe our food and agriculture systems aren’t good at all and we need more restrictions so food quality is better. You can be aware of discrimination, that isn’t
1 Absolutely! That is exactly what I’m looking for. That definition acknowledges that disliking another group for no reason is racist. I’m glad we agree, this opens the logical conclusion, that, being the victim of racism, and seeking reparations would not be racist. That is essentially what is happening with DEI. The system has not allowed other groups into higher education through various means. Whether that’s just straight up being illegal or not allowing them to have the economic mobility.
Most people today are not fans of directly giving money to make up for the damage incurred on their community. So we’ve expanded the education opportunities since financial is not acceptable to most people. I think financial would go a lot further actually 2. I agree, I have no strong opinion on food hormones. I was simply using an example for why a “normal” kid might use puberty blockers 5. Awesome! That’s a great distinction. Being aware of people of discrimination is woke. And some people—
